If these two issues could be resolved my rating would otherwise move up to 4 or 5 stars, as there is clearly a lot this app does well, and I only hope these relatively small changes can be made. The bidding, in fact, is not accessible at all. It is thus difficult for me to determine what has happened, because I cannot easily tell which cards have been played. Seconarily, unlike the desktop version, BB mobile does not vocalize bidding and play. The cards still show up on the table as disabled buttons, and it is very easy to accidentally cheat, and indeed rather hard to avoid doing so. However, the mobile version has a few accessibility issues that are not yet resolved.įirst and most egregious playing the game with VoiceOver, Apple's built-in screen reader, is very difficult because the game does not hide my opponent's cards from VoiceOver. I hope the developer can fix these because otherwise it’s a great program.Īs a totally blind Bridge player, I very much enjoy the app on desktop. The app says it supports Family Sharing but when I tried to do so on my iPhone, it was not listed as an app that could be shared. I’d like to switch from my iPhone to my iPad but have no way to do so without purchasing again.ģ.
